CANCUN FC AND COJUDEQ INAUGURATE PHOTO EXHIBITION OF THE 'ANDRÉS QUINTANA ROO' STADIUM

The Iguanas Board of Directors, represented by Diego Rodríguez, marketing director, and Alejandro Mendoza, delegate of the Northern Zone of the Commission for Youth and Sports of Quintana Roo, lead the ribbon cutting.

Cancún, Quintana Roo September 8, 2023.- Cancún FC and the Commission for Youth and Sports of Quintana Roo inaugurated the Photographic Exhibition alluding to the history of the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium, a project that describes the best moments of the property from superblock 21.

In the presence of the media, gathered in the 'Tourist Lounge' area, the Iguanas board, represented by the marketing director, Diego Rodríguez and the delegate of the Northern Zone of Cojudeq, Alejandro Mendoza, representing the president, Eric Arcila Arjona, offered details of this great initiative.

“This is for you, so you can come and enjoy. It is the first step, and Alex is not going to let me lie, in this stadium we have received different sports. Tomorrow we will include photos of the personalities who were here. “We are a community, a movement, not just a football team,” said Diego Rodríguez.

The images were rigorously chosen by the sports lens specialist, Fernando Núñez, head of the Cancún FC photography area and with extensive experience in this field.

“Thank you, Fher, for your excellent work, you are passionate about what you do,” said Rodríguez, who also praised the work carried out by a group of muralists from the 'X por la Pinta' Collective.

Postcards from the Copa Maya with Lionel Messi as the protagonist, in June 2012, episodes of the Atlante battles during his stay in Cancun, in the maximum circuit and the main figures of the Iguanas, to name a few, are part of this select Gallery.
