Cancún, Quintana Roo September 4, 2023.- Cancún will host the Fourth National Fut Down Tournament, from September 21 to 24, reported Giovanni Solazzi, vice president of Cancún FC in the company of Eric Arcila Arjona, president of the Commission for the Youth and Sports of Quintana Roo.

At a press conference, at the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium, the Iguanas and Cojudeq board offered the details of the great event that will begin precisely at the building in superblock 21, on September 21 at 7:00 p.m. .

“It is a pleasure to welcome you to our stadium.
We are a team from Cancun and we want to reach the First Division soon.

We started this season very well, sportingly speaking, as well as people-wise, since playing on a Saturday helped us a lot.

This is a very important project, a great project (he reiterates) for the city and the state,” explained Giovanni Solazzi.

The general director of the Benito Juárez Sports Institute, Alejandro Luna López, and the teachers, Lluvia Buenfil, Helen Aguilar and Víctor Salcedo, team coaches, also attended the meeting with the media.

“I'm going to tell you a little about how the history of this initiative came about: one day, during a work tour, in Guadalajara, it just so happened that in front of the Municipal Palace, the Fut Down Tournament was taking place. For his part, Alejandro Luna López, head of the IMD, representing the Municipal President of Benito Juárez, Ana Paty Peralta, recognized that 'it will be an important event for our city, to continue promoting sport and raising awareness in society.'
