La Piedad, Michoacán January 20, 2024.- Pioneros Cancún FC resumed its participation with a victory (1-2) against Reboceros de La Piedad at the 'Juan N. López' stadium, on matchday 19 of the 2023-2024 Season of the Premier League Serie 'A' (Group Two).
The Caribbean team opened the scoring with a score by Leonardo Sánchez, who took advantage of an error by the goalkeeper, Rodrigo Cerecedo, when he tried to play the ball. In the action, the rebound fell to the number '96', so he could only push the ball into the back of the net.
Following the goal from the squad led by Enrique Vela, the Michoacans pushed in search of an equalizer, with men like Alonso Valadez and Jhon Rodríguez.
Before half an hour, Pioneros had the second, through Antonio López himself, but he did not connect the ball correctly a few meters from the goalkeeper, Cerecedo.
La Piedad did not lower its arms and at 37' Jhon Rodríguez tested Lusiel Gómez with a shot from outside the large area, but, fortunately for the visitors, it only left a scare.

Thus, the people of Cancun consummated the victory.
The victory, their fifth of the campaign, allows the Caribbean squad to add 24 points. Instead, Reboceros stagnated at 23.
On matchday 20, the Cancún FC subsidiary will face none other than Inter Playa del Carmen, on January 29 at the 'Mario Villanueva Madrid' Sports Unit, in the so-called 'Premier Monday'.
