Double from Antonio López and another from Yoshua Alamilla shape the scoreboard at the 'Cancún '86' stadium, on matchday 33 of the 2023-2024 Season of the Premier League Serie 'A' (Group Two)

Cancún, Quintana Roo, April 20, 2024.- With a resounding victory (3-0) against San Juan Aragón at the 'Cancún '86' stadium, Pioneros Cancún FC concluded its activity as a local in the 2023-2024 Season of the Premier League Series 'A' (Group Two).

The Caribbean squad found victory again, thanks to a double from Antonio López (2' and 30') and another from Yoshua Alamilla (74') in the 33rd and penultimate matchday of the regular phase.

It was a dizzying start, with Pioneros attacking and an inspired 'Tony' López, who opened the scoring after just two minutes with a header from a corner kick on the left.

After almost half an hour of play, the Cancun team would score the second, courtesy of López himself, now with a shot stuck to the base of the left post, with a toe-kick that left the goalkeeper, Alexis González, with no chance.

Pioneros would score the third in the 74th minute, which was the decisive goal, when Yoshua Alamilla entered the area and with a powerful shot to the left post, surpassed the goalkeeper, González.

The victory puts Enrique Vela's team on 37 points. Club Atlético San Juan Aragón, on the other hand, has 25.

The Caribbean team will close the tournament on Saturday, April 27 against the Halcones de Zapopan.
