Cancún, Quintana Roo September 26, 2023.- With two consecutive wins in recent weeks and the possibility of taking the lead in the 2023 Apertura Tournament of the MX Expansion League, Cancún FC will visit the Toros del Atlético Celaya at the ' Miguel Alemán Valdés'.
The Iguanas already won as a visitor and by a landslide (1-4) against Club Atlético La Paz, on September 13, which ended a streak without winning in the campaign. Now, he will have the opportunity to add his second success outside of Cancun, but also with the goal of taking over the position of honor.
For now, those led by the teacher, Luis Arce, are in the sixth place with 16 points, thanks to five wins, one draw, three losses, 16 goals for, 11 against and a difference of +5.
“Celaya is a big player in the division that can put us in serious difficulties, but we prepared very well to move forward. We continue on the path, building the identity of Cancún FC,” Luis Arce acknowledged.
The Caribbeans will play their fourth match in Celaya, where they have neither won nor drawn, with only one goal scored.
