CANCUN FC GIVES DONATION TO 'ABUELOTON 2024' CAMPAIGN
As a socially responsible company, it joins the initiative promoted by the Benito Juárez City Council through RCA to help improve the quality of life of senior citizens in the municipality.
Cancún, Quintana Roo, August 27, 2024.- Cancún FC is 'For Everyone' and one of its objectives as a socially responsible company is to participate in social work activities, such as 'Abuelotón 2024', a campaign promoted by the municipal government of Benito Juárez through Radio Cultural Ayuntamiento.
In this regard, the Iguanas' board of directors, represented by the marketing director, Diego Rodríguez, gave their donation to Erika Macip, announcer and head of the sponsorship area, representing the general director of RCA, Fausto Adrián Palacios, at the radio station's facilities.
Fans exchanged personal hygiene items, adult diapers, craft supplies, medicines and groceries, among others, for tickets to the game against Tampico Madero in Zona Oriente General, corresponding to the fifth round.
Educational institutions, private companies and professional sports also joined forces to work together to support vulnerable senior citizens.
The closing of the 'Abuelotón' in Cancun was a great success, on the esplanade of Plaza de la Reforma. This Wednesday, it will be in Chetumal.
