As part of their preseason, Iguanas and Tuzos agreed to a thrilling draw (2-2) at the building on superblock 21.

Cancún, Quintana Roo, July 3, 2024.- Cancún FC and Pachuca overcame a thrilling battle (2-2) at the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium, as part of their preseason heading into the Apertura 2024 of their respective tournaments (Liga de Expansión and Liga MX).

As was the case against Rayados de Monterrey, each match lasted sixty minutes. Among the starters who lined up with the Iguanas, there were players such as the goalkeeper, Gustavo Gutiérrez, the defenders Benjamín Galindo, Rodrigo Reyes and Jonathan Hernández, the midfielders, Junior Moreira, Jorge Díaz Price and Johan Alonzo, in addition to the Colombian 'killer', José Rodríguez.

For the Hidalgo team, the goalkeeper Carlos Moreno did it; Luis Rodríguez, Gustavo Cabral, Sergio Barreto and Alonso Aceves, in defense; Pedro Pedraza, Nelson Deossa, Alan Bautista and Owen González, in midfield; up front with the Dutchman, Oussama Idrissi and Luis Puente.

The match was intense, rough, with chances for both sides, but not reflected in the score. In the end, they would end up tied without scoring.
