Cancún, Quintana Roo August 29, 2023.- Boston Cancún FC, affiliate of the Iguanas in the Third Professional Division League, has already defined its coaching staff for the 2023-2024 LTDP Season.

The teacher, Edgar Iván Lievano Flores, 34 years old, originally from Atlacomulco, State of Mexico, will lead the team in its return to this category.

“I just arrived in the city, looking forward to coaching Boston Cancún FC. I am happy, very excited because I know that I am arriving at a great institution.
The Third Division is important because we want to promote and give minutes to the young people of the region (mostly born in 2005, 2006 and some in 2007) so that in the medium or long term they are in a larger division," explained the mentor of Boston Cancún FC.

Trained at the National School of Technical Directors (ENDIT) (2014-2016, Toluca, State of Mexico), he has a Master's degree in Scouting and Game Analysis (2018, Barcelona, Spain), with skills in leadership, teamwork, proactivity, creativity, communication, adaptability and conflict resolution.

FC Estudiantes (Group 6) also in LTDP, first as assistant and then as technical director, in addition to Torneo del Sol (2022, Selection 4), TDP Special Selection (2017, Selection 5), Universidad de Ixtlahuaca (2015) are part of his career, so far.

“We know the rivals, we know that there is very good football in this area. We have to be very competitive, a benchmark for the city. There are teams close to Boston Cancún FC, however, we must focus on our objective,” he stated.

The teacher, Lievano, will be accompanied by Axel Orlando Rivero Cruz (physical trainer), Javier Alejandro Hermenegildo Osuna (goalkeeper coach), Dante Delgadillo Karam (analyst), Luis Alcocer Sosa (prop) and Alejandro Solís Olveres (doctor). The sports coordinator of the project will be the teacher, Jesús Enrique Carbajal Aguilar.

The Caribbean squad will consist of 28 players, after a thorough testing period on the synthetic field of the State High Performance Sports Center (CEDAR) in Cancun, which was attended by 180 prospects.

Boston Cancún FC will debut in the campaign next Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the same CEDAR against Club Deportivo de Fútbol Zitácuaro.
