Cancún, Quintana Roo August 29, 2023.- Cancún FC resumes its activity in the 2023 Apertura Tournament of the Expansion League, and will do so as a visitor against the Alteños de Tepatitlán at the 'Gregorio 'Tepa' Gómez' stadium, in the Jalisco Heights.
After resting on the sixth day, the Iguanas will reappear in the contest with the idea of climbing to the top, after three wins at home, a draw and a loss, the last two on tour.
“We come from a break, to recharge our batteries, to be with family and friends, to train hard for the game against Tepa, which will not be easy at all. “He is a very tough opponent,” acknowledged the wing defender, Walter Ortega.
In their last match, those led by the teacher, Luis Arce, imposed conditions (2-0) against Atlético Morelia with scores from Hedgardo Marín and Alfonso Tamay, which keeps them in the dispute for the first places.
