Cancún, Quintana Roo, July 27, 2024.- Cancún FC is finalizing details ahead of its appearance in the 2024 Apertura Tournament of the Liga de Expansión MX and one of its new additions will be the 23-year-old left back defender, Óscar Eduardo Villa Domínguez, former member of the Esmeraldas de León.
The footballer from Pánuco, Veracruz, began his career in 2016 with the Tuzos del Pachuca Youth Team (Under 15, 17 and Third Division categories), until he emigrated to León in 2019 to defend the melenudos.
In the First Division, he made his debut on March 4, 2022 with the Esmeraldas, in the game in which the beasts imposed conditions (0-1) against Bravos de Ciudad Juárez.
Likewise, he was part of the Mexican Under 23 Team that won the gold medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, thanks to its victory (2-1) against Costa Rica.
