Boston Cancún FC, leader of Group One of the 2024-2025 Season of the Third Professional Division League (LTDP) visits Deportivo Chetumal this Saturday at the 'José López Portillo' stadium, on the occasion of the ninth day of the competition.
The team led by professor Edgar Iván Liévano Flores is currently undefeated. Seven wins, one draw, 16 goals scored, three conceded (+13 difference), one extra point and 23 points are their numbers.
Three points is the difference between the Iguanas affiliate and the runner-up, Ejidatarios de Bonfil, with 20, so the Bostonians should not slow down.
In their most recent match, at home, they were victorious against Corsarios de Campeche with a goal by Gael Gutiérrez in the 77th minute.
This will be the fifth duel on the road for the team from Cancun. Previously, they won the four away games they won against Tiburones de Progreso and Deportivo CTM Búhos, both by the same score (0-2), ISG Sport FC (0-1) and Atlético Quintanarroense (0-3), in that order.
For its part, Tigrillos will host for the fifth time, with the need to end its streak without winning in its 'den'.
The Chetumal team has two draws (1-1) against Ejidatarios and Mons Calpe, but lost (7-6) on penalties against the Bonfileños, but won the extra point against the Yucatecans (5-4).
In the other two, they fell (2-4) against Atlético Quintanarroense and (1-3) Progreso FC, respectively.
