Cancún, Quintana Roo, November 29, 2024.- After three games as a visitor, Boston Cancún FC returns home to host Mons Calpe SC Yucatán on matchday 12 of the 2024-2025 Season of the Third Professional Division League (LTDP).
The team led by professor Edgar Iván Liévano Flores will play its fifth match on the synthetic court of the State High Performance Sports Center (CEDAR) in Cancún, after the last one played on November 2 against Corsarios de Campeche.
Since that occasion, when they imposed conditions (1-0) against the filibusters, the Bostonians completed a three-game tour, with a draw (0-0 in regular time and a 4-3 victory on penalties) in Chetumal against Tigrillos, a defeat (2-0) at the expense of Ejidatarios de Bonfil and a victory (1-2) against Inter Playa del Carmen, in that order.
So far, the Caribbean team has recorded eight wins, two draws, the same number of extra points, one loss, 18 goals for, six against (+12 their difference) and 28 points, placing it in second place in Group One.
For their part, the Yucatecans have not won a single match, as they have accumulated three draws, eight losses, six goals in favor, 18 against (-12 their difference) and only three points, which have them sunk in last place in the same sector.
On tour, they shared honors on a couple of occasions, both (1-1) against ISG Sport FC and Tigrillos de Chetumal, only that in both cases they fell in the penalty shootout, for the extra point.
Of the eight losses that it has had, in three it lost away from the SNTSS 'Dr. Óscar Hammeken' Sports Unit, the most recent (3-1), on November 9 against Inter Playa del Carmen, on the ninth date.
