Cancún, Quintana Roo, November 23, 2024.- Cancún FC joins 'Movember, United Against Prostate Cancer', a campaign promoted by the Benito Juárez City Council, through the Ministry of Welfare, with the aim of preventing this disease.
The 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium, home of the Iguanas, hosted the 'Human Mustache' formation, as a representative symbol of this month, which seeks to transmit a message of awareness among Cancun men.
'La Rodada 2024' started at 3:30 p.m. at Kilometer 8.5 of the Hotel Zone, in front of the Krystal hotel, up to the building on superblock 21. Participants wore blue shirts, protective helmets, closed shoes and pants.
On the esplanade of 'Andrés Quintana Roo' and with the presence of Berenice Sosa Osorio, Secretary of Municipal Welfare in Benito Juárez, Daniel Arreola, vice president of Pioneros de Cancún, representing the president, Ana Paty Peralta and Lilian Alarcón e Ito, director of Salvati Quintana Roo, in addition to the motorcyclists who were part of 'La Rodada 2024', led the opening ceremony.
Health services were offered at the stadium to prevent prostate cancer and other diseases, as health is a priority factor that ensures the well-being of the people of Cancun.
