The champion of the Expansion League returns home to face the horned team on the sixth day of Clausura 2024, with the goal of returning to the path of victory

Cancún, Quintana Roo February 12, 2024.- Cancún FC goes to work against the Toros del Atlético Celaya in its return to the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium, after a couple of outings against Correcaminos and the University of Guadalajara.
The sixth day of the 2024 Clausura Tournament will be special on 'Iguana Tuesday', on the eve of the 'Day of Love and Friendship' with attractive promotions for the champion's fans: 2x1 in couples and 50 percent for singles (applies in the General East Zone), in addition to endless surprises.
Those led by the professor, Luis Arce, suffered a couple of defeats on their tour of Tamaulipas and Guadalajara against 'Corre' (3-1) and Leones Negros (2-0), a situation that forces them to add the three points in their basketball court. They have not lost at home since Wednesday, September 6, when Coyotes de Tlaxcala beat them (1-2).
In Cancún, they will collide for the fifth time, fourth in the regular phase, since they faced each other in the first leg of the Clausura 2022 Quarterfinals, with a victory (0-1) for the bureles.
In the three previous ones that were drawn in the building in superblock 21, only in one did the Caribbeans emerge victorious (2-0 on the second date of Clausura 2022). The other two favored those from the shoal (0-2 on matchday 15 of Apertura 2020 and 0-4 in Apertura 2022).
The most recent occasion that both coincided was on Wednesday, September 27 at the 'Miguel Alemán Valdés', on matchday 11 of Apertura 2023. That time, the Guanajuato team imposed conditions (1-0) with a score by Adolfo Domínguez.
At the moment, they have two wins, three losses, six goals for and the same number against. It is seventh with six units, the same as a platoon, which includes Tapatío, Tlaxcala, Mineros and Tepatitlán, respectively.
