CANCUN FC CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL FIRST DAY OF THE DEAD FESTIVAL
Catrinas, altars, gastronomy, halftime show, and of course, the triumph of the Iguanas against Mineros de Zacatecas, rounded off a great party before, during and after at the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium
Cancún, Quintana Roo November 6, 2023.- Cancún FC successfully celebrated its first Day of the Dead Festival on the esplanade of the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium.
At 6:00 p.m., Las Iguanas hosted an authentic popular festival to join this tradition in our country.
Catrinas, altars, gastronomy, raffles, a half-time show with a spectacular mariachi, the participation of the singing children of the Boston School, 'La Kuadra' Band and of course, the victory against Mineros de Zacatecas, rounded off a great party before, during and then in the building in superblock 21.
Fun, culture and sport was possible thanks to the combined efforts between the Cancún FC board and authorities of the Benito Juárez City Council, through the Municipal President, Ana Paty Peralta and the Municipal Secretariat of Social and Economic Development, headed by Berenice Sosa Osorio.
As if that were not enough, fans had the opportunity to purchase the t-shirt alluding to this festivity at the official Iguanas boutique, inspired by the talent of Alcides Torres Bonilla, winner of the art contest.
The Caribbean team is getting ready to go into action in the final phase, starting on November 15 or 16, when they begin their Quarterfinal activity against a rival to be defined.
