CANCÚN FC STARTS TRYOUTS FOR ITS THIRD DIVISION WITH GREAT SUCCESS
Nearly a hundred prospects from the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 categories are participating in the open scouting session at the State High Performance Sports Center (CEDAR) in Cancun
Cancún, Quintana Roo, June 13, 2024.- Cancún FC has already started its activities and did so with great success, thanks to the participation of almost a hundred prospects in the open scouting who are looking for a place with its affiliate of the Third Professional Division League (LTDP), Boston Cancún FC.
From Monday, June 10th to June 14th, the Iguanas will be watching kids born in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, and from June 17th to June 21st, they will be watching players who have already played for a professional team.
The venue for this stage of testing is the State High Performance Sports Center (CEDAR) in Cancun, from seven to nine in the morning.
The coaching staff, led by professor Jesús Enrique Carbajal, included eight teams and for an estimated 15 to 20 minutes, the youngsters were observed in the games they played.
This period of tryouts will continue throughout the week with more specific activities, such as individual technique and physical conditioning, however, on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th, when the first part concludes, teams from Cancun schools will attend to face those who are chosen.
Also in attendance were professors Rodrigo Cetina, Marcelo Alatorre and Antony Mijares, as well as the physical trainer, Axel Rivero, Dr. Jorge Eduardo Cauich and the director of sports operations of Cancún FC, Alejandro Vela.
