CANCUN FC BEGINS PRE-SEASON TOWARDS THE 2025 CLAUSURA TOURNAMENT

The Iguanas report to the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium to get in shape for the next semester of the Expansion League

Cancún, Quintana Roo, December 3, 2024.- Cancún FC has already started its preseason ahead of the 2025 Clausura Tournament of the Liga de Expansión MX.

After their vacation period, the Iguanas reported to the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium to get in shape for the next semester.

Led by the teacher, Luis Arce, the team overcame its first practice, right where a year ago, the Cancun team was proclaimed champions for the first time in its history, in this category, with a resounding victory (3-0) against the Potros de Hierro del Atlante.

The first training session consisted of physical work on circuits, supervised by the coach, Joel Josep Dones. While waiting to find out who will be the possible rivals for friendly matches, the club will continue its activity in the building on superblock 21.

With the exception of Carlos Prieto, Andrés Iniestra and Zahid Muñoz, the rest are the same as those who finished the previous campaign, with elements such as the goalkeeper, Gustavo Gutiérrez, the defenders, Benjamín Galindo, Rodrigo Reyes, Hedgardo Marín, in addition to the full-backs, Jonathan Hernández, Óscar Villa and Axl Padilla.

Midfielders Paul Uscanga, Junior Moreira, Alan Rodriguez, Jorge Diaz Price, Adán Zaragoza, Johan Alonzo and Jean Unjanque, as well as forwards Gael Gutierrez, Mauro Guadarrama and Jose Rodriguez, also feature in the squad.

Diego Oliva, Aldo Solano, José and Jalil Sánchez, from the Boston Cancún FC subsidiary, are doing preseason with the first team.
