Cancún, Quintana Roo, December 19, 2024.- Cancún FC and Bravos de Ciudad Juárez engaged in heated friendly games at the 'Andrés Quintana Roo' stadium, as part of their preseason training ahead of the 2025 Clausura Tournaments of Liga MX and Expansión MX, respectively.
Jorge Díaz Price and the African Jean Unjaque, for the home team, as well as Jairo Torres for the Juarenses, were expelled.
Bravos players discriminated against Unjanque, a situation that forced his teammates to defend him.
Both teams, for example, started with most of their starters. The team led by the professor, Luis Arce, lined up with Gustavo Gutierrez; Rodrigo Reyes, Benjamin Galindo, Leonardo Zabala and Axl Padilla; Paul Uscanga, Alan Rodriguez, Jorge Diaz Price and Johan Alonzo; Jose Rodriguez and Mauro Guadarrama.
The northerners did it with Sebastian Jurado; Javier Nevarez, Moses Mosquera, Carlos Salcedo and Ralph Orquin; Guilherme Castilho, Denzell Garcia, Dieter Villalpando and Jairo Torres; Jose Luis Rodriguez and Oscar Estupiñán.
Colombian Oscar Estupiñán was the star of the Bravos with a hat trick. Moisés Mosquera scored the fourth for his team. The Iguanas scored via penalty kick, through the Colombian José Rodríguez.
The matches consisted of two halves of half an hour each. In the second match, with an alternative team, the Bravos repeated the dose (1-3), with a double from Karel Campos and another from Ángel Zaldívar. Diego Oliva scored for the hosts.
The Caribbean team played the second match with players such as Christopher Andrade, Hedgardo Marín, Óscar Villa, Junior Moreira, Adán Zaragoza, Jean Unjanque and from their subsidiary, Boston Cancún FC, among which were Luca Birlain, Jalil Sánchez, Diego Oliva and Aldo Solano.
Juarez sent Benny Diaz; Javier Nevarez, Jose Manrique, Daniel Cardenas and Eder Lopez; Jonathan Gonzalez, Cesar Sosa, Karel Campos and Jan Carmona; Alex Mendez and Angel Zaldivar to the field.
