“This event is very Mexican. We held the first edition last year and it was a huge success. Cancún FC's vision goes beyond football. It seeks to be a cultural and entertainment meeting point for all ages,” said the team's vice president, Giovanni Solazzi.
The club aims to become a unifying force for the city, focused on incorporating the history, spirit and talent of the people of Cancun.
Catrinas and altars of the dead, framed by the gastronomic and artisanal exhibition, will be able to be admired by fans next Saturday, November 2, starting at 6:00 p.m., with the opening ceremony.
“It is very important that these traditions are not lost. As Giovanni explains, Cancún FC is more than just football, and we, as the Municipal Secretariat for Social and Economic Development, are joining in once again, this time with six altars from the Community Development Centers,” said Berenice Sosa Osorio, head of the Municipal Secretariat for Social and Economic Development.
The event, which is completely free, also includes activities for children, pet altars, bread of the dead, surprise contests and a drone show.
